In Flexkeeping, add-on items are categorized into the following groups:
Minibar: This category allows you to list all the minibar items offered to your guests.
Linen: Keep track of daily changed linen by adding items to this category.
Amenities: This group includes all cosmetic items added to the rooms.
Maintenance Supply: Enter maintenance supplies kept in stock, such as batteries and light bulbs, to effectively manage and monitor your inventory.
Room Service: The room service menu can be added to this category
Cost of Quality: If you use the guest relations module, this category is where you can add products offered to guests as compensation, such as upgrades, free dinners, bottles of wine, etc.
To add the items, navigate to the Administration menu - Addons.
Choose the product type. The selected category will appear in green as seen in the video below.
Once you have selected the type, you can add a new item by clicking on the Add New Supply Item
button. Now you need to fill out the following information:
Item Name: Enter the name of the item.
Price: Specify the price for the item. If the item is priceless, you can leave this field as 0.
Stock: If you want to monitor your stock, input the quantity here. As item consumption is recorded, the stock will decrease accordingly.
Min Stock: Set a minimum quantity for your reference. There won't be any notification if the stock falls below this minimum; it's solely for your information.
Order: Determine the order in which the items should appear.
Once all the information is entered, press on the green button to save the change.
We can send mini bar items directly to some of the Property management systems. For more details, contact your implementation specialist or our support team.
