Release notes: BACKEND version 2.41.0 – 2025-10-29

 Bugs

• Samples RMS integration issues on dual key rooms - All RMS properties Tier 1 - 3

  • Fixed an issue where interconnecting rooms in dual key setups were not receiving checkout notifications when a guest checked out of the main dual room. Now, all relevant rooms receive proper notifications, ensuring housekeeping teams are always informed and can maintain room readiness.

• Integration Guest Attributes are not visible for users

  • Resolved a bug where only admin users could see integration guest attributes, while other users could only view standard ones. Now, all relevant users can view integration guest attributes, ensuring everyone has the information they need on guest attribute screens.

• Assignee Not Retained on Repairs on Hold

  • Fixed a problem where assigning someone to a repair on hold would not persist after a page reload or waiting. Now, once you assign someone to a repair on hold, the assignment reliably stays in place, even after reloading or waiting.

• Not Able To Disable Recurring Task

  • Fixed an issue where disabling the recurring option on a task did not actually turn it off. Now, when you remove the recurring setting and save, the task stays as a one-time task as expected.

 Tasks

• Comments are missing on tasks created from checklists.

  • Fixed an issue where comments added to checklist items were not appearing in the resulting assignments. Now, any comment added to a checklist item will automatically appear in the related assignment, ensuring all details are visible.

• Check-out from mobile

  • Implemented backend support for mobile check-out, allowing users to trigger guest reservation check-outs directly from the app. This includes a secure endpoint, real-time status tracking, and proper user group permissions for a seamless mobile experience.

• Error message when assigning rooms from the web browser

  • Resolved an error where users saw “.map is not a function” when assigning rooms via the web browser, especially in certain languages. The code was corrected to ensure compatibility across all user environments, so room assignments now work smoothly.

 Improvements

• Improve logic for cleaning credits calculation on AC

  • Improved how cleaning credits are calculated in the HSK suite’s automated cleanings. The system now checks settings to decide whether to use cleaning type credits or status credits, and if no credits are available, it shows zero. This makes the credits display more reliable and flexible for daily work.

 Bug Fixes

• Modal overflow when image title has long text without spaces

  • Fixed an issue where images with very long titles (without spaces) in the assignment modal would cause layout problems. Now, long titles are properly wrapped or truncated, ensuring the modal remains tidy and user-friendly.

• Cannot delete property

  • Resolved a bug that prevented users from deleting a property because the input field was not responsive after clicking delete. The input now works as expected, allowing users to enter text and complete the deletion process smoothly.

• Align user name

  • Fixed the alignment of user names in the user menu, especially for users with longer names. All user names are now consistently center-aligned, providing a cleaner and more professional appearance.

 Tasks

• User page allows user to create a password with 3 characters, but the password does not work

  • Improved password validation on the user page to prevent saving passwords that are too short. Users now receive a clear error message if the password does not meet the minimum length, ensuring a smoother and more reliable login experience.

 Improvements

• Show No clean when manual override

  • Updated the interface to clearly show when a manual override sets a room’s expected clean status to “no clean.” A dedicated card with a hand icon now indicates manual actions, making it easier for teams to spot and manage overrides.

• Improve the search on Lost & Found to include the description

  • Expanded the Lost & Found search functionality to include item descriptions, not just titles. Users can now search for keywords or phrases within descriptions, making it easier to locate lost items.

 iOS 3.5.6 is live on App Store, with the new guest check-out feature.
