Users who have access to rooms have access to one or two menus.

  1. Rooms: represents the status page from the web and offers an overview of all the units within your property

  2. My Rooms: This menu exclusively displays rooms assigned for cleaning (assigned on morning work allocation) and is only available to users responsible for cleaning. (eg. Housekeepers). If no rooms are assigned to a housekeeper then the user will see an empty list.

CLEANING PROCESS

By clicking on a chosen room, the user will be presented with the pop-up window where the following options will be available:

  1. Start cleaning - a housekeeper starts cleaning the room.

  2. DND - a housekeeper will mark DND when a guest leaves a »Do not disturb« sign on the door handle

  3. Towel change - A housekeeper will choose this option when she won’t be cleaning the room but, she will change the towels and/or linen

  4. Add ECO

  5. Room view  - the housekeeper can access the room without starting to clean it. This option is usually available only to housekeeping supervisors and managers.

  6. Guest declined cleaning - When a guest declined cleaning completely throughout the day a housekeeper can mark this without starting the cleaning process.

To start the cleaning process the user selects the Start cleaning button and continues with their tasks. During cleaning the user can enter minibar consumption, linen change, cosmetics consumption, add the task or repair. Once the room is cleaned, the user can change the cleaning status by clicking on the room number and changing it to clean. The colour of the room will change to green with stripes, indicating that the room is ready for inspection. To exit the room, the user can click on the arrow icon on the left side of the screen.

PAUSING THE CLEANING

If the housekeeper needs to pause cleaning the room, they can exit without altering the cleaning status. A dialogue will appear to confirm quitting the cleaning process. The cleaning time will stop and will resume once cleaning is re-initiated.

On the Room Status page, these rooms will be marked as On Pause.
