This article will show what the numbers on the Room allocation view represent. When allocating rooms to your staff members it is good to have a quick overview of the current situation. We tried to group them into three segments to show as many details as possible.

ROOM STATUS

Room status is the state of the room depending on its occupancy or lack thereof.

ROOM STATUS

MEANING
Empty

These are currently empty rooms that do not have any arrivals expected today, nor was there a guest staying during the night.

Stayover

These rooms have a guest staying for at least one night, who is not yet leaving today. These are occupied rooms.

Due in

These are currently empty rooms with a new guest coming. These rooms may have been empty or on a departure earlier in the day.

Arrived

These rooms have been checked into today. New guests have already arrived and checked in. This is an occupied room as of today.

Due out

Guests from these rooms are leaving today. The guests have not yet checked out and the room is still occupied until they return the keys.

Departed

Guests from these rooms have already left the room and there are no arrivals expected in these rooms. These rooms are now empty but require the full attention of the housekeeping staff.

General Cleaning

These rooms are empty; however, they have not been cleaned since the last guest left. They look just like departed rooms with the exception, that the guests checked out in previous days.

Out of order

These are rooms out of order/service.

ROOM ATTRIBUTES

ATTRIBUTE

MEANING
Due in (Arrival)

The arrival attribute represents a new guest coming to this room today.

In correlation to Due in Room Status, these can be visible on empty rooms, stayover and departure rooms. Due In room status is calculated when the room is already empty (either guests left today, or the room was empty before).

Rooms for inspection
(for check)

For check attribute is only available on empty rooms which have already been cleaned in the previous days

Change linen

The icon for linen change is available on stayover rooms where a full linen change is required based on the cycle calculation during the stay of the guest.

Checked out

The checked-out attribute represents rooms where the guest has checked out already.

In relation to Room status Departed and General Cleaning, the attribute can be added to either. The main difference is that in the General cleaning scenario, the guest checked out on the previous day, while the Departed scenario is displayed where the guest has checked out today.

Guests

The Guest counter will count the in-house guests based on integration data
