The turndown service

Hotels offering turndown service will have an additional tab on the Housekeeping page labelled "Turndown." Once this module is enabled, rooms will be allocated for turndown service similarly to regular service.


ALLOCATING ROOMS FOR TURNDOWN SERVICE

Housekeeper allocation is done the same way as for regular service. Navigate to the Housekeeping page and select the Turndown tab. Choose the housekeepers on duty, select the rooms from the right and click on Add selected rooms. Click the Confirm button to save the changes.




ROOMS VIEW ON THE MOBILE

The Rooms view menu will have two tabs: Room List and Turndown. Rooms requiring turndown service will have a moon icon in the top right corner, as seen in the screenshot below.


 




COMPLETING THE TURNDOWN SERVICE

To initiate the turndown service, go to the Turndown tab and click on the Uncompleted button. This will change the status to "In progress." Once the service is done click on the In Progress button and select the Finish Turndown option. 




When the service is completed, the moon icon will appear in full colour, as shown in the screenshot below.





The status of the turndown service can also be tracked on the mobile app in the room view.




If the guest has a DND sign, click on the "Add DND (Turndown)" button. The status of the turndown will be listed as DND (Turndown).
